Hey Spurs fans! We’ve got some thrilling news to share with you all. We’re buzzing to let you know that Micky van de Ven is now officially a part of the Tottenham family! 🙌
While we’re waiting for the international clearance and work permit to come through, here’s a bit about our new star:
- Shirt Number: Micky will be rocking the number 37 shirt for us.
- Contract Duration: He’s committed to the club until 2029. That’s a lot of seasons of Micky magic to look forward to!
- Hometown: Our lad hails from Wormer, Netherlands. He kicked off his football journey with WSV ’30 Wormer.
- Early Career: In 2013, Micky joined FC Volendam’s youth team. He climbed the ranks swiftly, making 48 senior appearances and netting the ball twice.
- Recent Past: Before joining us, Micky showcased his skills at VfL Wolfsburg since August 2021. During his time there, he played 41 matches, scored once, and set up three goals.
- International Achievements: On the international front, Micky has represented the Netherlands’ Under-21 side 11 times. He even played in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship recently. Plus, he was on the radar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, making it to the preliminary squad.
