Tottenham in Advanced Talks for Savinho as Transfer Push Intensifies

Tottenham Hotspur are deep in negotiations with Manchester City over the signing of Brazilian winger Savinho, with multiple sources indicating that a deal is edging closer.

According to David Ornstein, Spurs and City are discussing a transfer worth around €50 million, though Pep Guardiola’s side are holding out for a higher figure — potentially €70 million — before sanctioning a sale. Savinho, 21, is open to the move and has already given the green light for personal terms, which will not be a stumbling block.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Spurs have already submitted their first official proposal, worth €50m, with City pushing for more. The Premier League champions are not actively seeking to sell but are prepared to do business if their valuation is met.

Thomas Frank is driving the pursuit, viewing Savinho as a perfect fit for his high-tempo, aggressive system. The Brazilian is keen to play a leading role and feature regularly, something Spurs can offer.

Sources in Brazil, via Globo, suggest both clubs hope to avoid a drawn-out ‘transfer saga’, with talks ongoing since last week. The Telegraph adds that City have given Tottenham encouragement that a deal is possible.

Eberechi Eze Still on Spurs’ Radar

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Eberechi Eze remains a player of interest to Tottenham. The Crystal Palace playmaker has long been admired by the club, but with James Maddison sidelined for several months, Spurs could be tempted to revisit a move before the window closes.

In brighter news for Spurs fans, Mikey Moore has signed a new long-term contract on his 18th birthday. The highly rated attacking midfielder is currently on loan at Rangers for the 2025/26 season, where he is expected to gain valuable first-team experience.
