Tottenham Transfer Latest: Eze Deal Progresses, Savinho Talks Continue, Collins & Hincapié Monitored

Eberechi Eze edging closer to Spurs move

Tottenham are growing increasingly confident of sealing the signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace before the end of the window.

Paul O’Keefe reports that “everybody in the game” expects the England international to be a Spurs player soon, with negotiations having accelerated in recent days. While there was speculation the deal was already complete late last week, Ben Jacobs clarified that the only hold-up is Palace finding a suitable replacement.

Talks between Daniel Levy and Steve Parish have been direct, with Fabrizio Romano confirming Spurs have submitted a £55m plus £5m in add-ons bid. Personal terms have been agreed, and Eze has informed Palace of his desire to join Spurs.

Sacha Tavolieri adds that a breakthrough may be imminent, with Palace already in advanced talks with Leicester City to sign Bilal El Khannouss as Eze’s replacement.

Savinho: Record bid required

Tottenham are also pushing hard for Savinho, with Paul O’Keefe revealing it will take a club record fee to bring the Brazilian winger in.

Fabrizio Romano has stated that offers in the region of €50m–€65m will not be enough, with Manchester City holding out for €70m+. City are not desperate to sell but Bleacher Report notes that internal voices at the Etihad are now telling Pep Guardiola to accept the money given Savinho’s desire to join Spurs.

Savinho remains Tottenham’s number one attacking target, alongside Eze, as Thomas Frank looks to reshape his forward line following Son Heung-min’s exit.

Defensive reinforcements: Collins & Hincapié monitored

Spurs’ defensive shortlist remains active, with Nathan Collins of Brentford attracting interest. The 23-year-old has recently been made club captain, and while Brentford are under no pressure to sell, Spurs are keeping a close eye. Manchester United and Liverpool are also admirers.

Meanwhile, Tottenham continue to view Piero Hincapié as their preferred option for a left-sided defender. Reports suggest he may have a release clause, though Fabrizio Romano insists Bayer Leverkusen consider him “untouchable” and key to Erik ten Hag’s project.

Midfield updates: Bissouma and Bentancur

Yves Bissouma’s future remains uncertain, with Everton and West Ham among the clubs considering a move. However, O’Keefe says the midfielder is keen to remain in England. Spurs value him highly and may be reluctant to sell unless a strong offer arrives.

By contrast, Rodrigo Bentancur looks set for a new deal. Thomas Frank is a huge admirer, and the club is already working behind the scenes to extend his stay. The Standard confirms Bentancur is seen as a key part of Spurs’ plans and will not be sold this summer.

Djed Spence signs new deal

In confirmed news, Djed Spence has signed a new contract with Spurs, tying him to the club until 2029, with an option of a further year. The 24-year-old has impressed in pre-season and is now firmly in Thomas Frank’s plans going forward.
