Tottenham Transfer Latest: Spurs Keep Savinho Talks Alive as Alternatives Explored

Savinho: Still a Priority, But City Hold the Cards

Tottenham Hotspur have not walked away from negotiations for Savinho, with Fabrizio Romano confirming Spurs remain “at the table.”

The 21-year-old Brazilian is keen on the move, but Manchester City are holding out for more than €70m, rejecting Tottenham’s initial offers in the €50–65m range.

Miguel Delaney reports that Spurs could revive the deal later in the window, but are also prioritising alternative targets given the difficulty of striking an agreement with City.

Lucas Paquetá: Spurs Make Enquiry

Tottenham have made calls to assess the situation of Lucas Paquetá, who remains highly rated by the club.

West Ham owner David Sullivan admitted a sale is “possible,” but stressed that the Hammers would need to bring in several replacements before allowing the Brazilian international to leave.

Xavi Simons: Spurs Monitoring

Spurs have also made enquiries for Xavi Simons, who is expected to leave RB Leipzig this summer.

According to Matt Law, Tottenham are weighing up a potential pre-deadline bid, with Leipzig valuing the 21-year-old at around £60m. Chelsea has long been Simons’ preferred destination, but their hesitation could open the door for Spurs.

Other Attacking Options

  • Morgan Rogers (Footy Insider): Spurs are pushing to take advantage of Aston Villa’s financial situation to sign the 21-year-old winger in a cut-price deal.

  • Antoine Semenyo (Fabrizio Romano): The Bournemouth forward was discussed internally in the last 24 hours, but a move looks unlikely as the Cherries insist he is not for sale.

  • Adrien Rabiot (L’Équipe): Tottenham have spoken with the French midfielder’s representatives. No club-to-club contact yet, but an official offer is possible if conditions align.

Vušković Loan Approved

Tottenham have signed off on Luka Vušković’s loan move to Hamburg, Fabrizio Romano confirms. The 18-year-old Croatian centre-back will spend the 2025/26 season in the Bundesliga, with no buy option included.

Spurs continue to see Vušković as a key long-term defensive prospect.

Nathan Collins Interest

Spurs are also among the clubs monitoring Brentford captain Nathan Collins, alongside Arsenal and Liverpool. The 23-year-old is admired for his leadership and composure in possession, though Brentford are under no pressure to sell.
