Keeley Deal Close, Wissa Decision Looms & Spurs Push Ahead for Gibbs-White

Tottenham Hotspur’s summer business continues to gather momentum with goalkeeper Josh Keeley set to leave, Yoane Wissa weighing his options, and the Morgan Gibbs-White saga entering a decisive phase.

🧤 Josh Keeley Set for Permanent Move to Luton

Young goalkeeper Josh Keeley is on the verge of sealing a move to Luton Town, with a fee already agreed in principle, according to Alasdair Gold.

Keeley, highly rated within Spurs’ academy, is expected to finalise terms with Luton within the next 24 hours. Spurs are reportedly inserting both a sell-on clause and a buy-back option, reflecting their continued belief in his long-term Premier League potential.

Per Lilywhite Rose, the buy-back clause gives Spurs the option to re-sign the 21-year-old should he flourish in the Championship.

Yoane Wissa: Spurs or Newcastle?

Spurs retain an interest in Brentford forward Yoane Wissa, but the arrival of Mohammed Kudus has cooled their urgency to complete a deal.

However, the race is heating up. According to Sami Mokbel, Newcastle United are expected to accelerate their pursuit of Wissa within the next 24 hours, but sources including Alex Crook and Graeme Bailey suggest Wissa prefers a reunion with Thomas Frank at Tottenham over a move to the North East.

That said, Keith Downie of Sky Sports and Tom Barclay report that Wissa is no longer a top priority for Spurs following Kudus’ arrival, making Newcastle’s late push one to watch.

🔁 Gibbs-White Saga Nears Conclusion

Tottenham are not backing down in their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White.

According to Graeme Bailey, Spurs remain confident, and crucially, the player only wants to join Tottenham, ruling out a hijack by any other club. Spurs are now hoping to resolve the situation before Forest depart for Portugal on Monday, per Tom Collomose.

The midfielder has held further talks with Forest officials this week and is still pushing for the move. A second bid, believed to be worth around £65 million, has been discussed but not yet submitted. Forest are reportedly still trying to convince Gibbs-White to stay with a new contract.

Multiple sources, including Ben Jacobs and HIMOTHY, continue to indicate that the transfer will eventually go through — it’s now a matter of negotiation and timing.

🇸🇦 Maddison Attracting Saudi Interest

Reports from Saudi Arabia claim that James Maddison is on a list of targets for Al-Ahli this summer. While there’s no confirmation of official contact yet, it’s the latest signal that Saudi clubs are continuing their push to attract top Premier League talent.

At present, Maddison remains a key part of Thomas Frank’s plans for the upcoming season.

🔍 What’s Next?

With Keeley’s exit close, Wissa considering his options, and Gibbs-White edging closer to North London, Tottenham’s transfer activity shows no signs of slowing down. The next 72 hours could be crucial.
