The goalkeeper has penned a new deal that will see him remain at the club until the summer of 2025. This commitment from Forster is a testament to his faith in the club’s direction and a boost for the team’s defensive stronghold.

Gio Lo Celso: Xavi’s Admiration and Potential Move

The transfer rumor mill is abuzz with news about Gio Lo Celso, as reported by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano. Xavi, the Barcelona manager, along with Deco, has shown a keen interest in Lo Celso. Xavi’s admiration for the midfielder is no secret; he views Lo Celso as an underrated talent with exceptional skills. This interest could potentially see Lo Celso making a move in the summer, offering him an opportunity to flourish under Xavi’s guidance.

Ange Postecoglou on Alfie Dorrington

Ange Postecoglou, shedding light on the club’s youth prospects, spoke highly of Alfie Dorrington. Having been part of the first team squad for the last few weeks, Dorrington, alongside Jamie Donley, is on the brink of breaking into the senior team. Postecoglou’s comments come amidst a spate of injuries and a packed game schedule, hinting that Dorrington might soon get his chance to shine on the bigger stage.

James Maddison’s Injury: A Coach’s Perspective

Addressing James Maddison’s recent remarks about his slow injury recovery, Postecoglou offered a different perspective. While acknowledging Maddison’s concerns, he emphasized the importance of trusting the medical staff’s expertise over the player’s self-assessment. According to the medical team, Maddison is progressing as expected, offering a more optimistic outlook on his return to the field.

As Tottenham Hotspur navigates through these developments, the blend of experienced players committing their future, potential new signings, and emerging young talents presents an exciting phase for the club. With strategic moves both on and off the pitch, Spurs continue to shape a promising future, aiming to strengthen their position in the competitive landscape of football.

  1. Quintilian B. Nasty

Great point by you guys about Venom needing to start in the FA Cup.

I’m excited to to see both Dorrington and Donley getting time in games. Let the movement of academy players to the first team begin. From what I remember from a past video by Ali Gold, he said he was more impressed by Dorrington than Phillips from watching the Spurs under21 matches. Fwiw.

  2. It’s good that we got Fraser tied to us for two more years. Great player, amazing personality to have in our squad and dressing room!
